ASE Emerald 98 U13 girls swept five straight games against Oregon Premier League teams to claim the Pacific Coast Super Cup on Monday, February 19th in Portland.  The girls started out the tournament with 1-0 and 2-1 wins at the Starfire Complex on January 28, 2012, and January 29, 2012, against ESUFC Timbers Red and FC Portland 99G Navy, respectively.

Those wins were followed up by 1-0 and 2-0 wins over Southside SC Pride and THUSC Gallium in the Portland area on February 18th and February 19th.  Those wins set up a championship game against the Westside Metros U13G Usonians on February 20th.  The ASE Emerald girls prevailed in an intense 3-2 game.

The ASE G’98 Emerald team started the Fall 2011 season slowly but ended with a strong finish to go 8-1 with 3 ties to take second place in the Puget Sound Premier U13 Girls Super League.  The highlight was its season ending victory over previously undefeated and first place Spokane Cobras.

ASE’s G’98 Emerald girls team coached by Jamie Castilla finished this Spring in the Puget Sound Premier League - Under 12 Girls Super League with a perfect 8-0 record.  This concludes the U12 Season for the girls, and follows on the heels of a perfect 12-0 Fall season.

G’98 Emerald proceeded to win their pool in the US Club Soccer Washington Cup before losing a tight game in the semi-finals by a score of 1-0 to ISC Gunners A.

GREAT JOB GIRLS! 

     This team is comprised of sixteen 12 and 13 year old girls that love soccer.  Many of our girls have been playing together for over five years.  The girls are highly competitive, have a strong fundamental understanding of the game and have had success on many levels, losing only a handful of games over the past couple of seasons.

     These girls love the game, love playing together and are close knit both on and off the field.  They have had competed at the local, state and regional levels and strive to continually get better.  This Spring, they will compete in the Puget Sound Premier League (U13 Girls Super League) and various tournaments to continue to test and improve their skills.
